How the score works

The score is made of published rules worth 100 points: contact details (15), summary (10), experience (25), education (10), skills (10), standard headings and core sections (10), date consistency (5), bullet clarity (10) and layout simplicity (5). What the score is not

It is an internal estimate of structure and completeness. It is not an official score from any employer’s applicant tracking system, and a high score does not guarantee an interview. ATS products parse and screen differently.

Using job-description matching responsibly

The matcher lists frequent words from a job advert that are missing from your resume. Add a term only if it honestly describes your skills or experience — never claim skills or qualifications you do not have.
