Keywords from job descriptions

Are there keywords that matter specifically for jobs in the UAE and GCC?

Yes. Besides skills, Gulf postings often mention practical details that work like keywords. Include those that apply to you, in plain words:

  • "GCC experience" or "UAE experience", shown by naming the cities and countries of your jobs.
  • Driving licence, such as "Valid UAE driving licence".
  • Languages, such as "Arabic (fluent)".
  • Availability, such as notice period or "immediately available".
  • Visa status, if you choose to share it and it is relevant.
  • Local systems or regulations you have actually worked with, such as VAT compliance or WPS payroll.

Example top line: "Procurement Officer | 6 years GCC experience | Valid UAE driving licence | Arabic and English"

Only include what is true, and check the posting for what that employer asks for.
