Flight Attendant / Cabin Crew resume
How do I write a resume for leaving cabin crew for a ground job?
Translate your flying experience into the language of the new field, and lead with the skills that employer needs. Cabin crew often move into hospitality management, customer experience, training, sales, event roles or airport operations.
Steps:
- Write a new summary aimed at the target job, not at airlines.
- Turn cabin duties into general results: service recovery, team leadership, training, sales.
- Keep safety training but move it lower unless the new job is safety-related.
- Add any courses you took for the new field.
Example (fictional): "Former senior cabin crew moving into guest experience management, with six years leading multicultural teams and resolving escalated complaints."
Example bullet (fictional): "Trained 20 new crew members on service standards and passenger complaint handling."
