Real Estate Agent resume
What should a real estate agent resume summary include?
Include the market you work in, the property types and deal types you handle, your transaction record and how you win clients. A real estate summary should read like a confident introduction to a client: specific, local and backed by results.
Build it from:
- Years in real estate and your area: city, communities or districts.
- Property types: apartments, villas, off-plan, commercial units, land.
- Deal types: sales, leasing, property management.
- Results: number of transactions, listings won, repeat clients.
- Languages, which matter a lot in international markets.
Example (fictional): "Residential sales agent with four years in waterfront and mid-market communities, closing 38 sales and 60 leases. Known for accurate pricing advice and fast responses to buyer enquiries in English, Russian and Arabic."
Example (fictional): "Commercial leasing agent specialising in retail and office units, representing landlords across three business districts."
List your licence as the local authority requires; it usually belongs in a Certifications or Licences section rather than the summary, unless the advert asks for it upfront. Avoid vague lines like "passionate about property". Your area, numbers and client focus say more.
