How should I list welder certifications and qualification tests?

List each welder qualification with the standard or code, the process, position, material and the date or validity, in a section near the top. Welding qualifications are usually tied to specific procedures, so precision matters.

Example lines (fictional):

• "Welder qualification to ASME Section IX – GTAW/SMAW, carbon steel pipe, 6G – 2024."
• "ISO 9606-1 – 135 (MAG), plate, PF – 2023."
• "AWS D1.1 structural welding test – FCAW, 3G and 4G – 2022."

Other examples welders sometimes list are AWS Certified Welder and national trade certificates in welding. If you are a welding inspector, CSWIP or AWS CWI are commonly seen examples.
