Quantifying achievements

How can students and graduates quantify their achievements?

Look at projects, part-time jobs, volunteering, clubs and academic results. These all have numbers you can use: people, events, money raised, hours, users or grades.

Examples:

  • "Led a team of 4 on a final-year project that built an inventory app tested by 20 users."
  • "Organised 5 networking events with around 60 attendees each."
  • "Raised funds for a local orphanage through a 3-day charity bazaar."
  • "Served up to 150 customers per shift at a weekend café job."
  • "Tutored 6 students in mathematics; all passed their final exams."
  • "Graduated in the top 10 of a class of 120." (only if officially ranked)

Even small numbers help. They show you can take responsibility and achieve concrete outcomes.
