Recruiter / Talent Acquisition resume

What should a recruiter resume summary include?

Say whether you recruit in-house or for an agency, which roles and markets you hire for, and the results you deliver. Hiring managers for recruiters look for niche, volume and quality of hire.

Include:

  • Agency, in-house, RPO (recruitment process outsourcing) or executive search.
  • Specialism: tech, engineering, healthcare, finance, sales, hospitality, graduate, executive.
  • Volume and level of hires, and one or two results.

Example (fictional): "In-house talent acquisition partner with six years hiring engineering and product roles for a fast-growing fintech. Filled around 60 roles a year across three countries, cut time-to-hire and built the company's first graduate programme."

Example (fictional): "Agency recruiter specialising in hospitality and retail across the GCC, consistently in the top billers on the team."
