Warehouse Operative resume

What should a warehouse operative resume include?

Include your contact details, a short summary, key skills, work history with clear bullets, licences or certificates, and education. Warehouse employers mainly want to know what tasks you can do safely, which equipment you can use and how reliable you are.

A simple layout:

  • Summary: two lines on your experience and the type of warehouse (cold store, e-commerce fulfilment, building materials).
  • Skills: picking and packing, RF scanner use, stock counting, loading and unloading, equipment you operate.
  • Experience: most recent first, with three to five bullets each.
  • Certificates: forklift, reach truck, first aid, manual handling or health and safety training.
  • Education: highest level reached.

Example summary (fictional): "Warehouse operative with four years in e-commerce fulfilment. Experienced in RF picking, packing and dispatch, with a counterbalance forklift certificate and a strong attendance record."
